How to reset your password?


A common problem for BPOS and Office 365 users is the good old password reset.  If you do not use federated Active directory the only people who can reset your Office 365/BPOS password are the internal company administrators.  If the administrators are not available to reset your password, this can be very frustrating.

Who should users turn to?
If you are a standard Office 365/BPOS user, you will need to find one of your internal Office 365 administrators to reset your password for you.  We strongly advise that companies create multiple administrators to allow for holidays, sickness etc.


Who should administrators turn to?
If you are a company administrator and you have forgotten your password, you will need to find annother administrator to reset this for you.  If you are the only administrator, you are in trouble!

If you follow the instructions it tells you to create a support request, sadly you need to sign into the portal before you can create one.... but you cant do that so you are stuck.

P.s You can use this if you are a standard user and no admins are available too.
